@Franny- I totally agree. My kids have grown to love time with Nana and Pop when we need a weekend away. We also like to bring back a small gift to let our kids know we were thinking of them when we were away.

We go on vacation without the kids and leave them with grandma and grandpa -- it's like a mini-vacation for them to have new caretakers around!
